We are looking for an ambitious Procurement Manager to manage the Company’s supply of products and services. The Procurement Manager’s role is to control spend and build a continuous efficiency culture, so company can invest in research& development, marketing and its people, which are key to its long-term success.
Main Tasks:

Own Procurement process, including contracting:
- Through great business partnership with key stakeholders, ensure the rigorous application of procurement process.
- Examine feedback and continuously improve procurement process (sourcing tools, KPIs).
- Ensure risks from supplier contracts are understood and managed through contractual terms.
- Train the organization to develop a continuous efficiency mindset and highlight the must-do’s of the procurement process.

Identify purchasing needs:
- Collaborate with key persons (production, sales& marketing, IT and senior management) to agree procurement controlled spend and ways of working to manage these.

Negotiate with suppliers:
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and present these to senior management on a regular basis.
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements and look for alternative supplier for key sourcing areas.

Supplier management:
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
- Track and report KPIs to ensure targets met.
- Manage the integration of the strategic supplier and renegotiate terms with its partners
- BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
- Proven procurement track record in a manufacturing environment and at least 6 years in procurement buyer or procurement lead role.
- Very good command of both written and spoken English
- Good commercial understanding of manufacturing contracts and supplier selection, including quality.
- Experience in running procurement process in an ERP environment (Microsoft Navision ERP experience is an advantage).
- Relevant Manufacturing or pharma industry experience is an asset.
- Hold suppliers to account& constructively have difficult conversations on performance.
- Using his/her continuous improvement mindset leverage best procurement practices across the organization.
